Tammi Franke is a partner in the law firm of Fitzgerald, Franke & Hewes LLP. Her practice focuses on corporate and technology-based matters, including debt and equity financings, venture capital and other private placements; business organization; licensing, distribution, marketing, online sales and service transactions, OEM transactions and joint ventures; and online privacy issues. She advises software, leasing, consulting, marketing, communication, and other emerging and established technology and digital media companies.
She has industry experience in telecommunications, wireless and Wi-Fi; software as a service (SaaS); business continuity, equipment leasing, consumer electronics, communications, and digital media. Prior to joining Fitzgerald, Franke & Hewes, Tammi was Deputy General Counsel of a Fortune 500 technology services company. From 1999 – 2006, she was the first employee and later became President of a digital media/consumer electronics startup.
She is a member of Business Law Network Chicago. She is also a board member of Woman Made Gallery and is a volunteer for Lawyers for the Creative Arts. She has been an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University in the Public Relations and Advertising Program, and at Columbia College in the Arts, Entertainment and Media Management Department.
