Co-founder

Chicas en Tecnología

I'm passionate about women and youth empowerment through technology. I'm a software developer by training and I've always understood technology as a tool to change our realities and have a positive impact in the world. My TEDx talk Programming with a Social Impact have over 14K views.

Programming is solving problems automatically. However the gender and geographical gap in Tech is broad. Technology is not an option for everyone growing up, specially for girls in Latin America. Given that creating technology is solving problems, if a huge part of the population is being left out of this conversation, the solutions created would not be as innovative and more importantly: there will be problems that will not be chosen to be solve.

This is why I co-founded an NGO in Argentina called Chicas en Tecnología where we motivate, train and support the next generation of women leaders in technology. They identify problems in their communities and they build solutions that impact their whole world. Chicas en Tecnología has already impacted the lives of over 1,000 girls in Argentina. We are building the pipeline of talent that our region needs to thrive. We are generating reports, data and investigations that support our mission and our model. We are training teachers to build local capacity and creating local ecosystem to support the girls in their journey to become the next generation of innovators in tech.
