Kids today love technology, and they use it daily, but it's kind of like magic to them. They don't realize that people make technology and they don't have a clue how it works. Our goal is help kids identify and understand the technology around them, and move from being consumers to creators of technology.
Our kids coding classes start with the basics and help kids understand that computers are just machines that follow instructions. We create games, stories, art projects and more to explore how these instructions work. Soon they are doing real programming and building the logical thinking and problem solving skills that come with that.
Coding is great for kids too because it's so creative. There is no limit to the ideas that can be expressed through programming. Every child has a tangible output at the end of each class, which they can share and be proud of, and no two projects are quite alike, even in beginner classes.
